Hello!

I’m Merick, I am 24 years old and graduated in 2020 with honors from a 3D animation & CGI program from Dawson College, Montreal, Canada. During my studies, I had the chance of creating a short film called “Flee”. I created the project from start to finish, starting with the concepts, storyboard, modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering and editing. My film made the selection of multiple film festivals around the globe, including the Ottawa international animation festival. I have a focus in visual development and design for film/TV. Since graduation, I have been doing freelance visual development and background painting on commercials, a Netflix documentary, Disney’s Disenchanted (2022), Human Resources Season 1 (Netflix), Big Mouth season 6 (Netflix), Human resources Season 2 (Netflix) and Big mouth season 7 (Netflix).

When I am not working you can find me travelling around the globe with my backpack and sketchbook! I recently just came back from a 5 month backpacking trip in Asia and Europe and am looking for work.
